Position: Customer Liaison Officer

Location: Head Office, Kelvin, Gauteng

This role reports directly: Business Development Manager

 

Purpose of the role:
The Customer Liaison Officer serves as the primary connection between the company and its customers, ensuring seamless communication, timely issue resolution, and a positive customer experience. This role plays a pivotal part in building long-term relationships, maintaining client satisfaction, and promoting customer loyalty.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Coordinate communication between customers and internal departments to ensure timely updates and resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM tools and reporting systems.
  • Follow up proactively on customer issues to ensure high satisfaction and service quality.
  • Provide input and feedback to improve customer service processes and policies.
  • Prepare periodic reports on customer trends and concerns for management.
  • Support sales and service teams in delivering solutions that meet customer expectations.
  • Set up meetings with new customers
  • Draft costings and proposals
  • Prepare presentations
  • Maintain sales pipelines
  • Educate customers about products, services, and policies in a clear and professional manner.
  • Manage communication between clients and operational teams to ensure accurate placement of temporary employees.
  • Respond to customer requests, queries, and concerns swiftly and professionally.
  • Coordinate the onboarding and scheduling of contract staff in line with customer expectations.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with customers to understand upcoming labour needs.
  • Ensure compliance with labour regulations and company policies in every placement.
  • Prepare customer service reports and identify opportunities to improve service delivery

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service or liaison roles preferred
